The Figurines are a brilliant band. I fell in love with their album earlier on this year. Ask Clint... he loves it too... I think even dirty Brian fell for it's charms. Here's 'Let's Head Out' which is the first fruits from their forthcoming album 'When The Deer Wore Blue'. The vocals still have that whiny Built To Spill/ Modest Mouse going on. In fact it's still quite slacker-ish sounding perfect pop music. It doesn't sound as good on first listen but then I didn't like the album initially and it grew on me in no time. Check 'em out anyway cos they string a good tune together.

What their label says...

Following their acclaimed ‘Skeleton’ album which garnered 5
star reviews and support from Radio 1, Radio 2 and 6Music,
plus a headline slot one the Radio 1 stage at Bestival, ‘Let’s
Head Out’ is taken from the forthcoming much-anticipated new
album ‘When The Deer Wore Blue’ due for release in February
2008. Here we have Figurines at their best - catchy,
challenging pop with Christian Hjelm’s distinctive high-range
vocals at the fore.
