Battles are back with their experimental hilarious brand of electronic rock. Tonto+ is well noodley prog gear. In fact noodles and prog some this up quite nicely. It doesn't have the same munchkin novelty value of Atlas though you can enjoy that crazy tune again on the bonus DVD which features rock videos of both tunes. The CD has 6 tracks including a Four Tet remix who is re asserting himself as the remix king after Hot Chip had taken over his mantel for a while.

Battles have had an amazing year, with the release of their album ‘Mirrored’ in May they have transformed from an underground buzz band to an international critically and commercially renowned force.  The album and preceding single ‘Atlas’ have enjoyed such plaudits as track and album of the week in NME, along with mountains of other media coverage.  They return with this new EP, lead by the eight minute epic ‘Tonto’.
