Pole: 'Steingarten Remixes' (Scape) First up is the pferd: melchior productions' zodiac mix which is a skipping technoid beat with lonesome backwards-forwards sounding keyboard/melodica refrain. The beat views in and out of focus in a late night, early morning haze. The flip has dimbiman remixing 'achterbahn' and mike huckaby turning in a synth mix of dusseldorf. The latter is fashionably minimal, heavily percussive leaning towards a mid-set DJ work out with the odd smattering of melody. The final mix is more on the Basic Channel, hissing hi-hats and aquatic washes. Modern day Techno heads will be loving this as it's all suitably lower case in approach.
