Now a record by the Family Underground with both sides clearly labeled A and B. No need to look at the run-out groove in candlelight to find out which side should be presented first. 'Riven' is an exercise in vocal delay and warm drones, complete with occasional bells (I think. or some other sparse metallic percussion). This has an unnerving undertone which appeals to me. The flip has repeated guitar drenched in effects which creates a supreme dark world. I'd love to be in a position where I could get fucked off my nut and listen to this, but I'm a good hard working family man these days. Good / bad trip/ gearr. Monged out to the maximum. You could probably see god if you were muntered listening to these dense layers of pure sound, building into parallel dimensions.... Is that Ganesh???

What their label says...

DENMARK'S DEEPEST DOPE-DREAMERS DIG UP ANOTHER PAIR OF PRISM-SPLITTING SLABS OF DECAYING RADIOACTIVITY. UNCANNY EX-MEN (AND WOMAN) AKTIVITY. MORE METALLIC THAN AXIAL AND FAR HUNGRIER THAN FUTURE BREAD, RIVEN RESONATES LIKE A DEAD BELL IN A BURIED VALLEY, RINGING, SUBTERRANEAN, WASTED, INDUSTRIAL. MAN-MADE CLANGS ECHO IN MECHANIZED CAVERNS. HOLOGRAM HANDS SWEAT BLACK LIGHT IN THE CENTER OF THE EARTH. IMPLOSION FANTASIES BLOOM.
