DJ Stingray A.K.A Urban Tribe / Sherard Ingram makes his debut on Belgium's Mewe label with the 'Aqua Team' 12". Detroit electro is the order of the day here. I find this guys stuff grows on me after a couple of listens and you keep noticing things you never realised were there. Deep little details and bleeps. The beats are fat and the tweak is crisp. I'm not getting the best out of this on the office stereo system but if these were to be dropped over a club system no doubt the party would be rockin'. This has the catalogue number 313 which is also the detroit area code.
