Over the last month I've secretly got into The Bishops and not told anyone... until now. The albums is cracking 60's pop and here 'The Only Place I Can Look Is Down' is one of the standout tracks. Complete merseybeat. In fact the lads thought it was The Coral and you can really hear that... their songs are pretty strong as well. I Can't Stand It Anymore is my other fave by 'em! Nice!!

What their label says...
The Bishops follow their critically acclaimed eponymous debut album with the release of this remarkable record which oozes character and fervor from every pore. ‘The Only Place I Can Look Is Down’ is a mop-shaking masterpiece which continues to show the notable depth and variation of levels that their truly significant first album offers. Liam Watson (The White Stripes producer) and his legendary analogue Toerag studio once again produces a razor sharp record that is brimming with energy and buoyancy.
