The Rakes release the new single, The World Was A Mess But His Hair Was Perfect, through V2 Records 16th July 2007. The single will be their second taken from the album Ten New Messages released in March this year. The World Was A Mess But His Hair Was Perfect will be released as 2 very special 7inch formats featuring tracks from the bands recent Zane Lowe Radio 1 session as well as a download bundle featuring a James Rutledge remix of the track. The single was initially written for a Dior Pour Homme Catwalk show, at the request of head designer Hedi Slimane.
