Luke Vibert seems to popping up loads recently, mostly with acid tracks but he goes for a different approach on the limited 'Mate Tron' EP. Erm.... He doesn't actually, I was slightly premature with that comment. Half way into the title track the 303 appears. I must say I do like his acid stuff way more than say the Wagon Christ output. You can tell he's an old acidhouse head and not someone that's just downloaded an acid plug-in. I like the slow unraveling groove of 'Asheed' with its oldskool house stabs. The excellently titled 'Meatabix' on the flip sees him getting a bit more aggressive while 'Salacid' is like some distant acid flash back. His Lover's Acid LP is also out for the first time on vinyl and the CD is available on a super duper ultra cheap maxi mega deal bonanza.
