See me Mariona by Brian Olive on Fitzrovian Phonographic. A 7" sounding like the Swedish entry in the Eurovision Song contest (how did that not win!!) or Luke Toms, Pop Levi . Actually it's pretty retro like Mark Bolan with female backing vocals adding to the general grandiose vibe. B-sides a psychedelic pop drone with crescendos and warpy sounds to make you get out the tie dye and dance like your bothered by swarms of flies..

What their label says...
350 ltd edition 7" vinyl & badge the fourth release for fitzrovian phonographic comes from brian olive ex soledad brother. He left his gig with the greenhornes in 2002 to play fulltime in the soledads. This is his first solo uk release. 'See Me Mariona' is a tripped out psych-drone song that sounds like a Spaceman 3 demo whist the flip 'Calling All Around' is a 60's / Gallon Drunk style tom tom stomper with bolan-esque vocals.
