What their label says...

You should hear a lot about Cloaks in the future. Shrouded in anonymity its difficult to describe how we felt when we first heard
their music, but if you like Wasteland, Timeblind and Wolf Eyes, then you're about 5% closer to what should be expected.
Straining at the chain, Werk's latest new signing, Cloaks is unleashed on a suspect audience with a pebbledashed backyard
take on dubstep and grime to twist your intestines and grit your teeth in triple-shot measures. Alongside tectonic's Moving
Ninja crew and DJ Scud and I-Sound's trans-atlantic Wasteland project, Cloaks take a post-breakcore, onomatopaeic view of
the grime genre, white noise encrusted formations of sticky soled subs and angular steppers ructions with horribly addictive
qualities. Operating at the outer limits of the human threshold for noise and sub tonal abuse, title track 'hi-tek buzz' comes
begging like a polo nosed devotee of Loefah and Mick Harris, before the oxidise-before-your eyes metallic onslaught of 'Virus'
infects your sinuses with billowing subs and spasmodic steppin rhythms from the Werk handbook on how-to-fuck-up-the-dance.
This will split the floor between them who like it hard and them who don't, but who wants them who don't on their floor
anyway? Already gathering support from Mixmag (Tune of the month), and accolades from his darkside dubstep peers Reso,
Mundo and Kid Kameleon, Cloaks will be taking his records and livesets to your yard soon enough.
