This Vertonen and Demons split LP sounds terrifying. The Vertonen side is dense rhythmic noise. It's the sound of pure evil, makes me imagine the end of the world. There's lots going on here. Layers and layers of intricate sounds and effects. Shockingly good noise stuff. This is the first material I've heard by Blake Edwards (not the Pink Panther film producer... P x) who has apparently been doing this stuff since 1991. The Demons side is the project of Nate Young (Wolf Eyes) and Steven Kenny (Isis, Werewolves). As you'd expect from this pair it's some nightmarish synth stuff. A pure sonic whitey. Recommended.
