Signed to EMI at the age of 17 and releasing two albums through the major Sondre Lerche takes a brand new direction with his hotly tipped forthcoming new album 'Phantom Punch' which is brimming over with unrestrained youthful energy as demonstrated on his recent tour with Elvis Costello. A musical departure from his previous material, this energy was captured by producer Tony Hoffer(Beck, Belle & Sebastian, Phoenix, Supergrass, Marianne Faithful and The Kooks) who was drafted in to give the songs a brighter more aggressive sound.
