THE SWITCHES re release Lay Down The Law on 2 x 7" and CD. The best thing to talk about is the covers as the music all sounds the same these days . This one features the boys having a greasy spoon, necking some drinks, blowing bubble gum bubbles and they're being interviewed by the fuzz. Presumerably for the awful cover..... Commercial indie rock which is catchy but so is Ebola an I don't fancy that.

OVERVIEW: Switches continue their ascent with this forthcoming Southend stomper of a single... 'Lay Down The Law' released on April 16th and followed a week later by their much anticipated debut album. The band have spent the last three months building their collective armoury and sharpening their shows with gigs here, there and everywhere. They now exit the starting blocks faster than a steroid influenced sprinter with this, a brand new Rob Schnapf (Beck, Elliot Smith) produced version of the demo track that was originally released on 7" only in Autumn last year. Switches have been picking up plaudits from both critics and fans alike with an irreverent and brilliant musical mix of flippancy and skills. It's Noughties rocking rolls personified and if you like yer tunes big and bouncy you're gonna love this if not, keep yer head down cos it is gonna take off!
