500MG: "Apocatastisis" is a seven track mini LP recorded in what sounds like a big old house. One man with his guitar, effects, tabla and violin on some out-there free-folk/blues type open ramble, complete with field recodings and gothic sounding titles like: "Stray thoughts on death & satan". For those that don't know & who aren't familiar with the members of Bardo Pond then this project is the handy work of MICHAEL GIBBONS, so if you're into gentle strummings, streched violin passages,atmospheric interludes and a touch of avant-noise noodlings (not too dissimilar to the Mike Flowers Band recent efforts)then this maybe your thang. Limited edition hand numbered with monochromatic pseudo-symetrical artwork.
