First up we have THE FOALS... live (you
don't get many live release these days). This has captured a nice slice of time, as the
Foals show off their live skills at the Liars Club on the 10/02/07 on
limited 12 ". Like children of The Cure they mix electro pop with fast beats, jerky guitars and wailing vocals. Like a less intense Forward Russia (a
weirder Young Knifes, a fuller Blood Red Shoes) they create
patterns with the sound resulting in tribal and hypnotic rhythmical music. A cracking live
performance which I'm sure was a wonderful, whiney, sweaty night in February. On Transgressive.

What their label says...
Only 1000 copies will ever exist of this hand customised 12" of the Foals show at Liars Club Nottingham. The cover features five birds which represent each band member, so you can work out which band member doodle'd your copy from which bird it was! The set includes soon to be classics Hummer, Balloons, Matheletics, Two Steps and The French Open and offers a glimpse of the band's live brilliance.
