Fields have a 7" out called Charming The Flames which is a 1 sided etched affair. It's the best etching I've seen in years. Really detailed. Excellent stuff. You get a code on there so you can download a choice of 2 different B sides. |Well funky. The song didn't do much for me the concept of the whole thing is well good.

OVERVIEW: The critically acclaimed Fields release a new single Charming The Flames through Atlantic Records on Monday March 26th. The single is taken from the bands eagerly awaited debut album Everything Last Winter, released on Monday April 2nd. Charming The Flames will be released on a brand new digital vinyl format, which has been banned from the charts by the OCC. How does it work: - the B side will be etched and it’s label will contain a unique code which will be redeemable at the bands website only (www.fieldsband.com) for a choice of non album track B sides, either Cold Hearted Machinery or When You Sleep (a MBV cover). Already tipped for big things in 2007 from The Times - The Sun, Fields released three singles last year, Song For The Fields (March 20th), 4 From The Village (July 10th) and If You Fail We All Fail (20th November).  All three received great critical applause on their release, NME gave two of them ‘Single Of The Week” status, adding, “2007 will surely be theirs.” Fields are lead vocalist/guitarist Nick, vocalist/keyboardist Thorunn, vocalist/drummer Henry, bassist Matty and guitarist Jamie.
