JOHNNY FLYNN AND THE SUSSEX WIT: in which the Ye Olde England
return to traditionalism stlye folk is apparent not just on the
naive cover artwork, but the brass, plucking and bass drum thump
coupled with the 'ship-ahoy' styled vocal wail of "The
Epic Tale of Tom & Sue", uhmm, very English and quite catchy after
a couple of plays. Couldn't quite compare them to anyone else but if
you like
TUUNG sans electronique and all things trad/folk then you'll be feeling this.
Absolutely essential
