What their label says...

Luke Sanger’s first experiences with computers and music were in the early 90’s using tracker software on the Amiga 500. Later getting hooked on the jungle music that was happening at the time he bought decks and a developed healthy vinyl addiction. He could be found playing across the UK in many fields, pubs, clubs and warehouses and later became involved with Molotov soundsystem. This led to a natural switch to from DJing to production and taking the studio out for live shows. His first release, ‘Dirty On The Floor’ on Don’t recordings got dancefloors busy with an earth shaking bassline and a certain well-known hip hop acapella. Since then Luke has released tracks on other respectable labels including Bowwow, Victim and Labrat Audio. Mixing bass heavy synth work with digital nasties and samples, Luke’s music has been described as “Wonkier than a table with three legs and grimier than an army truck”.Not taking music seriously in the best possible way, his genre-defying tracks are always pushing the envelope, combining analogue with digital, broken beats and melodies. After gaining big interest on myspace, ‘War’ gets unleashed! An absolutely gut-wrenching FM bassline continually pummels any bassbin into submission, you have been warned! Work That Mod finally makes it onto wax after being written back in 2002, the track was composed entirely on an electribe ES1 sampler and re-arranged on the computer. Method to Madness inspired by an episode of Family Guy, utilizing rough RZ1 beats, minimoog bass and a riff hook written using the Evolver synth. Dedicated to the Organ Monkey himself (Luke’s brother), this track combines samples and old rave loops with an Evolver synthline not unlike a C64 on acid!
