Phil pointed out to me that I was tapping my foot when he played the GOOD SHOES
album. It's strange that as I found myself doing it when Maggie
reviewed the recent single. If it happens again I'm going drop a big
brick on my foot to stop it from happening again. We've just entered
into a big discussion about the fact that kids have it too easy these
days. This music is dead happy sounding. Not enough pain we reckon.
This really reminds me of a more puny sounding
Bromheads Jacket. Mingus has pointed out the fact that some of the guitar bits sound like
TheBuzzcocks. I still like the fact that they wear dead
shit trainers. I used to wear the crappest trainers imaginable as a
kid. £2.99 plimsoles from Woolworths. Other kids tried to mock my
footwear while my only defence was to claim that they were 'Bruce Lee
shoes'. Kids can be so cruel.
