Welcome once again to Dubstep corner. This weeks featured plate is Dub Assembley Volume II from MUNDO.
'We Kill You' has signiture throbbing low end and squelching synth
along with dread vocal samples and dely drenched dub chords. What I
like most are the spooky atmospherics in the background and the
percussion claps. Reminding me of The Vonn Trapp Family.
A wicked tune. The tempo decreases on the flip with Lifted MC on vocal
duties on 'Bring Murda'. One heavy weight sound system tester. The
vocal appearences are sparse and work well. Some MC's can tend to over
do it but this just adds that little bit more depth. I can imagine
being lost in the smoke at 4am to this one. Quality.
