I've been enjoying this REDJETSON 7" on Try Harder records.
It's super polished post rock with Sigur Ros style posturings and
twinkles... some Euro style Mew things happening, some Mogwai
guitars.... But I'll tell you what. It's completely catchy and completely epic.
I can imagine giving the right airplay this band getting absolutely massive from
this release. 'The Unravelling' sounds quite cinematic sounding and is a
thoroughly enjoyable experience!

What their label says...
Heavyweight vinyl – limited, hand-numbered run of 500 copies. The latest limited edition single from Try Harder Records (Blood Red Shoes, Foals) sees Bloc Party favourites Redjetson taking a major stride forward. ‘The Unravelling’ is not so much epic as monumental, while ‘Racing In The Mire’ is confidently complex and unsettling. With a run of only 500 copies, on heavyweight vinyl in a full picture sleeve, this release is sure to become hugely collectable. Having toured extensively in both the UK and across Europe in 2006 (supporting iLiKETRAiNS and Archive), Redjetson are set to record their sophomore album this summer, with UK and European dates to follow into 2008.
