DOGS: "This Stone Is A Bullet", some like marmalade, others like lemon curd or peanut butter and marmite, The DOGS dem like THE JAM or The Rifles; angry urgent punk-pop. I wonder, do they do 20 min sets at their shows? The flip goes a bit pub-rock with 'man in the street' wordsmithery and stripped down instrumentation.

What their label says...

second single to be taken from this forthcoming album and proceeds the release of the three minute, sonic explosion of first single ‘Solider On’. Both fine, adrenalised tasters of the great things to come. ‘This Stone Is A Bullet’ epitomises perfectly DOGS’ ability to capture, lyrically, the essence of modern British life and frame it within perfectly constructed, fiery and enthralling songs. A tongue-in-cheek, humourous tale of drunken nights, stone throwing, good friends and some broken Cambridge windows, with vocals – a fired up, silken soul bearing roar - interwoven with gloriously loud, electrifyingly charged rock guitar, rhythmic, stampeding, power-fuelled drums and revved-up, thudding bass.
