OVERVIEW: The Pierces are 2 weird sisters Allison and Catharine from Alabama who brew a witchy mix of American deep south roots, pop, cabaret and gypsy voodoo flavours into their music and lyrics. After their first UK tour supporting Albert Hammond Jnr (Dec 06) The Pierces release their debut single Sticks & Stones here in the UK, building on the profile that was created around their mesmerising live shows. This taster single is taken from the forthcoming album ‘Thirteen Tales Of Love & Revenge” set for release on 26th March, followed by second single, The Power Of Love on 23rd April to coincide with a full UK tour.
