Further cementing the Anglo-Yank grime relationship, Team Shadetek hookup with Skepta and Jammer for the final precursor to the hella long awaited 'Pale fire' full length. Team Shadetek ride the grime buzz hard, with an uncanny appreciation of UK Grime's predilection for brainfreezing synth melodies and rude halstep riddims, and owing as much to Deep South crunk as Wonder or Wiley, 'reign's hybrid riddim is a perfect backdrop for Skepta's unique flow. Jammer guests on the flip over the Skynet riddim, a mashment of reggaeton's rigid snare patterns and screwed Jon E Cash productions for turbulent dancefloor motions. A properly tasty appetiser for the album.
