Straight into THE KILLERS new single called Read My Mind. When my
sister was up the other week she was amazed (and shocked) that I didn't like
this lot. Her two children proceeded to call me stupid. We've not really
mentioned much about 'em and largely ignored the last few singles and album as
they get far too much press anyway. I thought I'd check back in with 'em and
here what they sound like these days and I'm pleased to know that I stand by my
original conviction that I just don't like them. This new single is bombastic sounding
bland American rock with hints of U2 and Springsteen.... even the sleeves look
like old U2 singles. I suppose when you get black and white photo guru Anton
Corbijn on board? On 7" and CD if I've sold it to you
(which I doubt...)
