Onto HADOUKEN who are a bunch of 12 year olds or summat or other? I was told. Their debut 7" is apparently kicking up a right stir. It's called That Boy That Girl and it's indie grime with far too many nods to The Prodigy for it's own good. If you liked that Lethal Bizzle remix of Test Icicles you'll like this. Mind you no one bought that so you probably don't know what I'm taking about ....but you'll buy this cos it's gonna be worth money to flog on ebay. Here today.... gone tomorrow. Grrrrrr....

What their label says...

Debut release for Hadouken! “They’re the embodiment of gritty indie cool, as devastating as the Street Fighter move they’re named after” – NME.       Gazing down on the country from their Leeds hideout as it slowly turns neon, Hadouken! picked 2007 to release the first record on their own Surface Noise imprint. A smart riposte to scenesters and a damn catchy indie / grime hybrid to boot, ‘That Boy That Girl’ finally gets a chance to break out of the underground. Referencing such diverse genius as The Prodigy, N*E*R*D, Elle Milano and Wiley, the band have already sold out 700-capacity London venues and gigged alongside the likes of James Murphy, Klaxons and Metric, and their remixes have blessed singles by Plan B and Klaxons. February tour dates with Plan B already look like one of the line-ups of the Spring  Limited to 500
