Bloody love it when we get some mashed in beats these days. There was once so much freak head gabba/spac rave gear around I thought my head was gonna fall off  & I just yearned for Monolake records after that onslaught.  I used to dig Scud & Hellfish a teeny bit but these days a cup of tea, a custard cream & the new EBOLA 12" suits me just fine. Opener on 'Subsonic Arm Mutilation' is a hefty chunk of dark brooding splintered gabba (think Deathchant records etal) with a vocal sample griping about the horrors of papercuts. The 2nd track is somewhere between Squarepusher & Venetian Snares. Tons of battling amens over a solid evil technoid thud. Shuddering hardcore delight. 'Nintendo Dubstep' does a fine job of making this EP compulsively diverse. Just what it says on the tin. More scuttling, eerie, schizo lunatic breaks on side two. The serious side of Shitmat's frantic party terror, this is solid, bad assed mangled shit. Get it on Noize:Tek
