It's a competent dark indie guitar track with slight electro pop leanings. 'Dancehall Deceit' showcases Amy Turnidge's talent perfectly. I like the cynical bite in her tongue and I suspect she plays all the instruments herself. It's worth mentioning that the photograph on the front was taken by one Nathan Doom, which is as cool a name as I've ever heard. He could be an honorary member of Sunn O))).
