What their label says...
Fond of electronic music since the British new wave invasion of the 80s, the two brothers Fabrizio and Marco D’Arcangelo joined DJ Max Durante in the early ’90s on the ASU project on Hot Trax, a hard techno venture which saw the release of three EPs. 1996 saw the release of their self-titled EP on Rephlex, which marked the fusion of the techno and melodic elements under a single label. Several techno EPs followed, both on international and UK labels. In 1999 came their debut album on Rephlex, ‘Shipwreck’. The last album ‘Broken Toys Corner’ is a favourite of fans of Aphex Twin, Plaid,Autechre, Boards of Canada and the like and received particularly high acclaim. This limited edition promotional EP features three downtempo/leftfield/electronic tracks, mellow and solid Techno-Hop, backed with the now-classic electro anthem, ’Diagram 2’ (original mix). All tracks exclusive to this EP.
