New into the office fresh from Mr Postman I have the new single by DE ROSA on Chemikal Underground records called Fathers eyes. Straight on the turntable... hand to mouth thats how we live it!!! Its a catchy jerky pop 7" with fast componants and Field Music style off beats and rhythm skips. Phils knees are dipping as he dances to it. Kind of a bit vocal delivery similar to Notwists front man. B sides are bit more standardy pop but really nice and non cheesy. Good job guys!! look 'em up here
De Rosa will be supporting Arab Strap on their farewell tour of the UK. Music Show in Scotland are filming the video for the single.Headlined the main John Peel night in Glasgow. Just back from supporting Mogwai in Europe. Limited to 1000 copies.
