Another close contender for single of the week was the SJ ESAU/ BRONNT
INDUSTRIES COMMERCIAL DIVISION 7" on Static Caravan. The Bronnt side comes
across like a really early Stereolab tune off their 1st album... but even
better! It's got a dreamy thing going but it's motorik beat, crazy song
structure and floaty female vocals makes this absolutely brilliant. I'm too
scared to play the other side in case it's not as good! here I go.... It's good!
Not as good mind you but it doesn't really stand a chance. Quality folky
sounding buildy up to a big crescendo of experimental minimalism and some female
vocals chucked in. That makes no sense to you lot but perfect sense to me.
Overall it's a great single.... both sides are top!
