Woohoo! CLINIC are back with another album. It's called Visitations
and it's well it's errr.... Clinic. They have their own sound you know.... you
got one Clinic album then you got 'em all. From the off it's undeniably them
with a Beefheartian stomper of a tune roaring through the speakers.... They seem
to have expanded their sound a little. It seems a little more adventurous
beneath the swampy pop with some odd song structures, acapella bits and some
razor sharp sounding guitars. This does sound like a belter on first listen and
I'm looking forward to getting to grips with it more. I like the fact they do
their own thing.... always good in my opinion! So after my initial comment I'd
say I was wrong cos this sounds sufficiently different from the other records
I've heard by 'em to warrant checking it out.
