The Victorian English Gentlemen's Club have impressed me so far. The album got played a few times in the office (a remarkable achievement these days) and everytime I heard it I loved it. They do the Pixies really well I have to say. It's a great sound to borrow from to be honest and I'd rather bands were nicking from Pixies than The Libertines and all the other shambling loonies and nobbers out there. There new single called Impossible Sightings Over Shelton is 2 tracks of perfect Pixies inspired indie pop. Excellent stuff.
