First up from LADYBUG on Soul Jazz, Kevin Martin's female MC project, now firing vixen led canon shots into the post dancehall
apocalypse. Warrior Queen's fine 'Dem a Bomb We' is given a smart refix,
noticeably more frisky & fearsome than the excellent 7" on his Ladybug
7" imprint. This is hip swivelling & sexy dance music taking the
whole ragga-core genre onto new plains of sonic
consciousness. It's the flip that really floors me with a ragged skit
from Deize Tigrana on 'Miniaturu De Lulu', a bouncy electrohall number
with her confrontational MCing in breathless French. Could fit nicely
alongside eccentric Japanese headcase
