The other fucker on this strange label is a different beast altogether. SILVESTER ANFANG are a self confessed collective of "post-satanic krautfolk non musicians", a term I would have walked on hot coals to be sacrificed by a 10 ft goat to have invented! Sprawling acid freeform gear is this, proper organic psych out shit. All recorded on 4 track, this feral funeral folk collective create an unsettling tribal atmosphere on their latest 'Satanische Vrede' You look at the sleeve & crap yourself as 5 well scrawny topless men departing some sinister wodland in Klan-esque headsheet's with 2 pet goats in tow. Really, this record sleeve is the hell to KLF's 'Chill Out' heaven. Simple as that. Side two is more peaceful & musical, a record I'd quite like to put on at home whilst maybe chopping up my housemate on a concrete slab. If you dig Wooden Wand & the Vanishing Voice, United Bible Studies & maybe Black Ox Orkestar then you'll dig this sub pagan witch rousing drone out. It's ace.
