Their latest single 'All In My Head' unfortunately doesn't have any free badges,
this however is more than compensated for by having a drawing of a Parrot on the
sleeve. If you get both the 7"s the sleeves can be put together to make a
complete parrot picture. Stunning. Phillip says "Who's this? Frank
Sidebottom" which I found highly amusing, as is Brian's tale of tortured
youth for being outcast by his friends for not liking Frank Sidebottom. He's
also told me to mention Art Brut in this review. It's amazing, this weeks
reviews are almost being done for me. These guys are on the cover of Artrocker
this week and one of the dudes looks like he got his trainers from a skip which
is ironic considering the name of the band.. Oh the music? It sounds like Good
Shoes and one of the 7"s comes with a remix (numbered of 500). This is another one out on
Brille label.

What their label says...
With their first 7” selling for £20 on ebay, and their second sold out in a week, south London kings of teen angst and suburban malaise Good Shoes release their first full single All In My Head on Brille Records.
Their quintessentially British sound combined with the youthful swagger of Rhys Jones' unique songwriting makes them one of the most exciting bands around today, their simple catchy songs and melodies belying hidden lyrical and musical depth. And then there's Rhys' voice, swinging beautifully between arrogance and insecurity, innocence and insouciance.
All In My Head is released digitally on August 6th, with CD single, 7”, and a second exclusive 7” available only from Chain With No Name stores http://www.cwnn.org released on August 14th featuring exclusive B sides Questions and Answers and Wrong & Right.
