Pretty cool 7" from KONDOR
too. It's called 'Flowcharts & Broken Hearts' & begins with an
ambient dub feel before evolving into hazy, slightly discordant fields
with distorted vocoders wrestling with gltchy slo-mo beats & sun
kissed guitar effects. It reminds me a bit of The Egg
in places sonically. Sample strewn downtempo gear for that place in
your head at 6 in the morning after a bit of amonster mash up. It's
also suitably wonky & tripped out to keep IDM fans happy. '400000'
is a bit odd as well, like maybe a slowed down Radioactive Man
blended with occasional snatches of guitar, bleary samples &
squelched down effects. It's another rather original number with a
dense & wonky vibe lurching from it's strangely layered grooves.
Ltd to 300 on heavyweight black vinyl. Give it a go!
