Warm innit? Am I probably the only person in the country unable to sleep at night due to the fear of collapsing seasons? Probably. I can categorically state that I am never cold. Never ever ever. I've thrown all my jumpers away. So here in my sweaty mitt I have a single by Absentee on Memphis Industries. Its called 'Weasel'. Its a strange one.  - a chirpy enough pop song with a singer who sounds Irish. Its the kind of pleasant, catchy guitar pop somewhere between Jack and Camera Obscura if such a place exists. The singer (whose voice is so low the earths core is trembling) has just sang the words "cocker spaniel" which reminds me of a joke. I went to a crap comedy club the other night and there was a dog on stage doing a Peter Kay routine  - his opening line was "... remember spaniels?". (sorry Andrew I don't think I told it right). But remember the rule  - always leave them with a joke  - funny or otherwise.
