Oh that bloomin' ginger pest is back with yet another Analord
(the final one!). This one's Vol 11 (Clint tackles Vol 9 below...) and the epic
on side 'A' is a fizzing alka-seltzer dancefloor-burning acid electro stew that
could belong to no other multi headed set of schizoid dance odysseys other than
this. I can hear Visage in this strangely. But also a very healthy contempt for
the lacklustre state of dance & electronica. This is one of the best in
total for me personally. Breathtaking & hypnotic technoid noise in It's
purest, most danceable skittering form. Slightly sinister but stirringly
beautiful. Last 3 trax on side 2 erring on the more squiggly (if one word could
sum up this project....) & playful (T2) , filtered & shut in a toilet
paranoid on wobbly downers (T3) & bloopy, trashed & moomin-like,
stumbling home in the park at night (T4) as this excellent series bows out with
a wink. That'll keep us for now, Mr. James. See you in 4 years! :0)
