I always start of Christ reviews with.... 'Christ is some dude who
used to be in Boards of Canada but left to do his own thing and he's like
the Pete Best of the electronic world'. Well I probably don't but thinking about
it I think maybe I should. Because of his previous connections he's always been
tarred with the Boards brush...... This new 12" called Vernor Vinge
is as good or if not better than anything on the last Boards album. Nice
slow paced melodic electronica with simple beats thus relying on the melody to
make it stand up. Which is does in spades... Lovely indeed!
