oooh lets check this 7" by Sound_00 and Iversen. Well, if you've ever wanted a record with minimal, spacious recordings from the depths of hell, in Siberia, then the 1st side of this record is for you. Like Satan's breath curling through a crumbling church at 3 0'clock in the morning. Or it could be at the wrong speed. Sinister. More lovely fetid noise from Iversen. Scorched cortex industrial ambience. Someone dragging heavy sheets of cold steel through the soft mush formerly known as yr brain. With power electronics fascinating me increasingly in these dark days of the insipid generic indie cack, I'd say if you like thought provoking sound & post music then give this inspired wax a try.

Sound_00/Iversen - 'Sound_00/Iversen' 7" Single

Jan M. and Antonio collaborate here for the first time, delivering 4 tracks of dark ambient power electronics. Sinister and thought provoking.

Limited edition of 500.

Sound_00 (Antonio Dimitrov) when at home and not traveling doing various projects, is based in Skopje, Macedonia, creating drone like, static sound experiments. Music obviously being the main focus of his hetic lifestyle, he has many other projects that keeps him busy. He studys philosophy at university but is more occupied with his net/cdr label 'acid fake recordings', and net fazine 'fakezine' ("a zine about contemporary experimental music and (sub) culture"). He also writes in several other printed magazines, has also covered topics concerning articles about art/digital art/computer art/design in his early student days, hosts two radio shows and lends his talent to other labels as 'acid fake design'. Antonio also releases under other alias' such as: 'every kid on speed' (glitch, cut ups), 'every kid on acid' (darker ambient), 'microsound_00' (noise, static, sinewaves), as well as taking these various projects live he manages to squeeze in a spot of djing.

Iversen (Jan-M. Iversen) based in Norway runs the TIBProd net/cdr label releasing his own music/collaborations and other artists from all over the globe. Jan also contributes to other underground labels such as Carbon, Absurd, 1000+1 TiLt, Foxglove, Organic Pipeline, Kabukikore, MIR, First Person, Stop/Eject, Simlog, Brise-Cul and Mahorka. Many of these together with Sindre Bjerga of Fibo-Trespo and The Gold Soundz-label. He is also active within the un-organization Origami Republika with units like Origami Minimalistika, Origami Klassika and Origami Maximalistika.

"On a different label, Iversen releases I believe his first piece of vinyl, a collaboration with Sound_00, aka Toni Dimitrov, aka Every Kid On Speed/Acid. They exchanged sound files back and forth and the first four results are on this 7" (other pieces to come on a compilation by Dirty Demos and on their website). Sound_00 provided some loud, gritty, laptop based music in the past, but perhaps it's the Iversen influence that keeps the noise reduced here. The four pieces are excellent displays of microsound of a rather darker than dark nature, with occasional rhythmic elements and likewise bits of repeating noise. Quite strong material." - Frans De waard, vital weekly

"Dvieju ambientiniu noiseriu splitas. Pirmas iš akedonijos, antrasis berods iš Švedijos. Tamsus ir baugus gabaliukai. Beklausydamas trecios kompozicijos norom nenorom sumainau garsa, labai jau isivaiavo. Iš tokios muzikos vienas geresniu irašu, gaila kad tik keturios trumpos kompozicijos (viso apie 8:30 min.). Kaip visda šiek tiek angliškai." - http://muzik.alutis.lt/
