Those electroni-folksters Tunng are back on a new label (which be
Full Time Hobby) and a brand new limited 7" called Woodcat which is my
single of the week so far. A lot of you included the Tunng album in your
top 10's of the last 10 years so we know they mean a lot to a lot of you. I was
wondering what would happen to them after leaving the comfy warmness of
Static Caravan.... Well they've come up with an absolutely fantastic tune
full of warmth, felling, melody and it's really unlike much else at the moment.
Mark has just said his voice sounds like Syd Barrett.... The flipside has
a Viva Voce mix which is taken up a notch with a syncopated beat and a
slight cinematic/ Bond feel....... You want this more than you want to eat
tonight. Eating's for losers.....
