If you fancy things a tad easier on the legs, then the long awaited re-issue of the legendary Black Devil Disco Club single (licenced by the ultra canny Rephlex who pipped the hapless Morgan Geist to the post - natch!) is here at last. Over 2x12"s & CDs, this is a strange, hypnotic slice of rythmic, funky dark-disco with the most stunning & fresh out-of-the-box vibe I've heard in an age. Addictively catchy, sort of like Donna Summer shagging Liquid Liquid remixed by The BBC Radiophonic Workshop & Kraftwerk. It's also been given a VERY respectful polish up by Luke Vibert (under his Kerrier District alias) on the 2nd 12" (& CDs) this is a French classic for electronic & dance fans alike. If this isn't getting caned everywhere over the summer I resign...Charming, timeless & utterly amazing (especially considering It's from the late 70's!!!)
