Reuben made us laugh with their last album. The three of them, stood outside their tour van in the most sterile posh Barratt estate in Plodsville. Totally unabashed & proud. 3 lads ready to RAWK Blighty to It's foundations. They're open minded too. 'Everytime A Teenager listens to Drum & Bass A Rockstar dies' is the snappy title of their contribution to the final splatty vinyl Xtra Mile 7" series. Well me & me girlfriend aren't teenagers but we were throwing some drunken shapes to some snotty grumblestep ruffneck jungle at a bar of dubious repute last Saturday & there were loads of teenagers well into it too. So that means, in an alternate universe somewhere, there's hopefully a pile of dead, rotting Gene Simmons clones. Yum! Frank Turner sounds like a comedy Billy Bragg support act without the hooter, politics or passion. It's a song about the perils of partying too much. "The Real Damage" is that kids might listen to this regrettable tosh. Jeez.
