Minotaur Shock have signed to 4AD and released the first fruits of their
new conjoined contract love. Firstly I'd like to say the sleeve artwork is fantastic so
whoever did it congrats on that. You can do my next party invites. When we first
played this today we were quite baffled by it as we couldn't think of anyone who
it sounded like. And we still can't... it's very percussive, tuneful and
unexpected. It has a rockier feel to it while still remaining electronic and an
overall more accomplished sound than his previous album chuffs and whatnots.
Aside from the absolutely hideous track with vocals the rest of the EP is ace.
