OK so the Franz Ferdinand have a new album out. They already feel like the old boys of a scene which is about to fall really hard on it's edgey, spiky art rock arse. Mind you they've kind of left that art rock behind and replaced it with pure pop. This is pretty commercial folks..... though I suppose they always had that about them. So it's another album of Franz songs which are more poppy and less strong than the debut. I reckon it's alright though and there's a handful of decent tracks on it. And as long as you skip 'Do You Want To' I think you'll probably enjoy it if you're a fan already. I can't see 'em winning any new fans with this though. Clint says it reminds him of the final Adam & The Ants album which I bet you weren't expecting.....(it does indeed sound a bit like it but there's no Franz rap unfortunately -Clint)
