Bizarre new single from Broken Social Scene. It's called 'Ibi Dreams
Of Pavement (A Better Day)' & sounds a little like Malkmus
& Co swimming through glue with strong hints of MBV's druggy
distortion thrown into the wonky fuzzed-up melee of sound. The vocals remind me
of Perry Farrell spliced with Thurston Moore & the whole
shebang is quite disorientating. It concludes in a Flaming Lips style
cacophony of sound that makes you wanna reach for the repeat button, or would if
it weren't on limited 7" only thru City Slang. Invest.
