Prego are the latest Editors meets Snow Patrol abomination that this poor exhausted man has to put up with. 'Cause and Resolve' has galloping drums, atmospheric guitars, a vaguely euphoric chorus and a voice completely stolen from Gary Lightbody. What the fuck? Get at least a tiny original idea of your own in the mix chaps. This is totally rubbish and has a dilapidated house on the front with a light on in the attic. But get this....There's no-one home. Also sounds like a slightly more "indie" Then Jericho. Bugger off..........

"Prego are brilliant. They make massive-bollocked 'new shoe' rock and will make you feel so much in heat you'll rub your arse ragged on the new lino" - NME aving already been earmarked and aired by Steve Lamacq, cited by NME as one of this years 'Buzz' bands, named in Rocksound magazine's Hot 100, and celebrated as one of the most talked about new bands at the O2 Wireless Festival, ‘Cause and Resolve’ is sure to be a landmark release for the band. It will be available on limited edition 7” and download, and resembles a colossal 10-armed substation of tempered ambition and amplification that, within the bat of an eyelid, can power down to an echo of footsteps, before snapping back larger and louder than ever before. Prego will be playing a number of dates around the UK, beginning with their show at London’s Scala supporting Pinback.  “They’ve choruses the size of new-build Far East skyscrapers and breakdowns as skin-prickling as the finest instrumentalists out there in post-rock land” – Drowned in Sound “So slick is their set one can’t see past the dollar signs flashing neon in the eyes of the assembled industry types. Previous comparisons have been made to Death Cab for Cutie; tonight suggests that this London quintet are capable of a rock far mightier” – Rock Sound “The music’s a mix of intricate, luscious melodies, culminating with massive, thrash rock finishes that pay off colossally” – Gigwise “
