I've always been a massive fan of Sirconical. I've liked pretty much
everything he's done til now. His new album I'm unsure about after one and a
half listens. The word that springs to mind (there is a theme here you know...)
is bouncy. At heart this is an electronica album taking in avant garde,
electronica, hip hop, ambience. It's very bleepy and bloopy and quite melodic
too. There's not much more than that though and I'm not 100% sure of the quality
of the tunes. Still I'll need to play it more so I'm not gonna knock it yet cos
the man is a genius. It's called Waving At Planes on and it's on Twisted Nerve
if yr interested. If MoWax were still making records these days I think they'd
sound like this.....
