I really respect Mike Paradinas. His Planet Meow imprint has been releasing
delicious & deranged madness in electronics for years now & shows no
sign of abating just yet. His most famous alter-ego U-Ziq returns to the fray
with a slice of fine twisted jungle called 'Ease Up', the VIP mix of which is a
perfect representation of his current state of musical mind. Old amen breaks
& classic dubby bass lines start off this rinsing old skool inspired plate
that with time gives way to his hallmark yearning techno bleeps & some
serious alienation squelch before creeping up & biting you once
again with it's skittering, mangled D'n'B isms. I think he's been completely absorbing
all the Remarc stuff on his own label cos this is the shit. It's a journey
& a revelation is this tune that'll put him right back on the map. Quality!
